Digital goods platforms compared

Six platforms digital sellers used in 2025 are now offline: Sellix since January 2025, and Billgang, Antistock, Sellpass, Forebit and Hoodpay since on or about 3 August 2026. Five of the six display an FBI seizure banner without any published law-enforcement announcement.

This table lists every platform we checked, online and offline, with its status, last known fees and where merchant balances sit. Each status has a source. Shoplio is listed first because this is Shoplio's site; its row is held to the same standard as the others, including the custody statement.

Not verified (marketing snippet claims no monthly, listing or transaction fees)Custodial: Trustpilot reviewers describe held balances

"Last known" means the figure was read from a pre-outage page, a search-engine snippet of one, or a third-party listing, as cited. "Not verified" means we could not read a figure from the platform itself and do not publish one. Trustpilot and forum material is reported as what those reviewers and posters say.

What the custody column means

The August 2026 outages turned custody from a footnote into the first question. Platforms fall into three groups. Merchant-connected platforms (Sellup, Sell.app, and SellAuth for fiat) route each payment to an account or processor the merchant already owns, and hold no balance. Custodial platforms credit a balance that the merchant later withdraws: the offline five for crypto, and, per their sellers on BlackHatWorld and Trustpilot, Shoppy and Sellhub (Sellhub's own site could not be read). Shoplio is in the second group and says so: a paid order credits a balance held in the platform's gateway wallets until you withdraw, and the platform's answer is to make that window short with auto-withdrawal above a threshold you set.

The August 2026 guide goes through the full checklist: custody, withdrawal cadence, gateway redundancy, export and migration, and 2FA.
