Automatic delivery for license keys, accounts and files

Automatic delivery is the core of Shoplio. You load stock once; every paid order takes the next unsold units and hands them to the buyer on the order page and by email. Nobody has to be online, and each unit can only ever be delivered once.

How it works

Each line of stock is one deliverable unit, stored encrypted. When the gateway confirms a payment, Shoplio claims as many unsold units as the buyer ordered from that product, or from the variant they chose, marks them sold, and delivers them. The order page shows the content, the delivery email repeats it with your message to the buyer (for example activation steps), and buyers with an account on your store can find it again under their orders.

The claim is atomic. If two buyers pay for the last unit at the same moment, one of them gets it and the other order waits as out of stock; a unit is never handed to both.

Stock types

The stock type tells the dashboard and the buyer what each line is.

Loading stock

The Free plan holds up to 2,000 available stock items per product; Pro ($19/month) and Enterprise ($69/month) have no stock limit. Sold items stay in the product's history and never come back as available.

  1. 1Open Products and click the stock icon on a product.
  2. 2Choose the variant if the product has variants.
  3. 3Paste your units, one per line, and save.
  4. 4Optionally turn on duplicate detection for the shop: before saving, the dashboard flags lines you have already sold on that product and lines repeated within the paste, and you decide whether to drop them.

When stock runs out

A paid order that finds no stock is parked as out of stock instead of failing. You can add stock and press Process to deliver it. If you turned on instant refunds, the buyer can take the amount as store balance; with auto-refund on as well, that credit happens automatically. Store balance can be spent on your store; it is not paid back out in crypto.

Restocking can also tell people: the Telegram channel bot can post a restock message, and buyers who allowed browser notifications get a restock alert for a product that was sold out.

Pre-orders

Turn on pre-orders for the shop and for a product, and a sold-out product (or variant) can still be bought. The order is paid and waits. When you add stock, waiting pre-orders are delivered automatically, oldest first. You can set a deadline of 1 to 30 days; a pre-order still waiting at the deadline is refunded to the buyer's store balance. Carts never contain pre-orders: a cart must be fully in stock.

Payment links for one-off deals

For a custom price agreed in chat, create a payment link: a fixed amount in US dollars (at least $1), optionally with content that is delivered when it is paid. A link can be paid once. Its content is encrypted at rest like stock.

Delivering from your own systems

On Pro and Enterprise, the REST API can push stock from a supplier feed, list unsold items, and deliver a specific paid, pre-ordered or out-of-stock order from your stock. Delivery through the API uses the same path as a payment, so it never hands out goods for an unpaid or underpaid order.

Frequently asked questions

How do I deliver license keys automatically after a crypto payment?

Add the keys as stock on the product, one per line. That is all: when the gateway confirms a payment, Shoplio takes the next unsold keys and delivers them on the order page and by email.

Can I sell downloadable files on Shoplio?

Yes, as links. Use the Files stock type and paste one download URL per line. Shoplio delivers the link; the file itself stays on the host you choose.

What happens if a customer pays and the product is out of stock?

The order is kept as out of stock, not lost. Restock and press Process to deliver it, or let the buyer take the amount as store balance if you enabled instant refunds.

Can customers pre-order a sold-out product?

Yes, if you enable pre-orders for the shop and the product. Paid pre-orders are delivered automatically, oldest first, when you add stock, and an optional 1 to 30 day deadline refunds the rest to store balance.

Is my stock stored securely?

Stock items are encrypted at rest and decrypted only when they are delivered or shown to you. Through the API, only keys with the stock or order read scopes can see the content, so treat those keys like your inventory.
